About Japanese
Japanese is a fascinating language to learn. Much about the roots of the Japanese language is unclear. Some link it to the Altaic language family, which includes Turkish, Mongolian and other languages, but it also shows similarities to Austronesian languages like Polynesian. It is spoken as a first language by 122 million and as a second language by over 1 million people in Japan. Learning Japanese is a fun way of connecting with one of the most diverse and vibrant cultures in the world.
