We cater for all ages and ability levels
Our youngest student is 3 years old and our eldest student (won’t mind us saying) is in their 80s! We have a class to suit everyone, whether it be kids Spanish, Improvers German, Conversation French or GCSE Mandarin. Our tutors are highly skilled in adapting lessons to suit the specific needs of each individual which helps ensure that all of our students feel relaxed, happy and fulfilled in their language lessons. We offer group classes and private classes.
Our tutors are highly experienced and many are native speakers
We pride ourselves on employing extremely experienced and knowledgeable tutors who have a passion to help others learn a second language. Many of our tutors are native speakers which helps our students to learn authentic, useful language rather than the formulaic language you find in a school textbook.
We have a friendly and relaxed, yet motivating approach
We strongly believe that language learning should be enjoyable, interesting and stress-free. We believe that our approach is so different to the school approach. We teach useful language, the background to how a language works and offer plenty of opportunity to practise with native speakers so the experience of language learning at The Language School is totally different to the typical school setting.
We offer more than just language classes
We organise regular social events where students can get together and socialise, practise the language they are learning or just have fun! Pre-Covid we had a yearly Christmas party and had organised theatre visits, restaurant outings and more. We hope to get back to that as the Covid situation improves.

Private lessons
We offer private lessons for students who prefer all of the benefits of 1-2-1 tuition such as specifically tailored lessons, a quiet learning environment and bespoke feedback and mentoring. Our private lessons are £30 per hour and we offer discounts for block bookings. Here are the prices:
